SDS EASY: Stormshield Data Security teams up with Stormshield Network Security to encrypt sensitive client data on networks

Stormshield Data Security Easy is a turnkey offering that runs from Stormshield Network Security (a network security solution) to encrypt the client's sensitive data, thus protecting their manipulation.

Stormshield, a key player on the European cybersecurity market, has unveiled SDS EASY, a data protection pack that interfaces directly with the Stormshield Network Security UTM. Thanks to this new solution, companies can cut down on their installation costs and optimise the profitability of their Stormshield Network Security appliance.

Today’s new uses - multiplication of infrastructures, the Cloud, increase in peripheral devices, telework, BYOD, exchange within the company, sharing of information, etc. - have significantly increased the exposure of companies to risks of attack. SMEs, in particular, are still using traditional protection systems that don't take current threats into account. This calls for a new approach to security.

It is with this in mind that Stormshield has developed the "Multi-layer Collaborative Security" concept. This model, based on active collaboration between the security engines of the various Stormshield solutions, embodies the future of deep information system defence.

To raise the level of overall security and to counter the most sophisticated attacks, Stormshield has therefore decided to coordinate its network protection systems (Stormshield Networks Security) and data protection systems (Stormshield Data Security) in SDS EASY.

"Companies that handle sensitive data wish to protect their network and leverage their UTM, without necessarily setting up a new infrastructure. They are looking, above all, for a trustworthy solution that is user-friendly and easy to use, all the while reducing set-up costs. SDS EASY meets all these requirements" explains Jocelyn Krystlik, Stormshield Product Marketing Manager Data Security.
