Network and Security Technician: Experience and Skills

️⭐Who we are looking for?

You have strong knowledge of UNIX or GNU/Linux systems and are capable of troubleshooting network-related incidents. You are comfortable reading and writing in English. You will analyze incidents involving the network aspects of our products and the infrastructures in which they are integrated.

✏️ What is the job description for the Network and Security Technician?

  • Identification of malfunctions through log studies and capture/analysis of network flows.
  • Implementation of corrective measures.
  • Reproduction of cases in physical or virtualized environments.
  • Interface with our R&D department to escalate persistent issues and propose corrections or improvements.
  • Documentation: Updating the Knowledge Base and writing technical notes.
  • Technical presentations during partner meetings.

⚙️ What is the technical environment?

  • Protocols: HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DHCP, LDAP...
  • Scripting: Bash, Shell.
  • Virtualization: VMware, HyperV, Citrix Xen.
  • IT Security: Firewall, IDS, IPS, VPN, PKI, SSH, authentication...
