Stormshield and Ingram Micro sign a partnership agreement to grow the vendor’s distribution network internationally and reinforce the wholesaler’s cybersecurity product line

Stormshield, a European leader in cybersecurity, and Ingram Micro, one of the major international wholesalers of IT products and services, have signed a partnership covering the EMEA region. The aim of this agreement is to strengthen Stormshield's distribution network in France and internationally while broadening the solution portfolio of Ingram Micro's cybersecurity division.

Ingram Micro's distinguished positioning and credibility in the integrator ecosystem will allow Stormshield to strengthen its partner network through new integrators in areas that complement its own current distribution network. This agreement, which will initially cover the whole EMEA zone, will be subsequently extended to other regions (US, Asia, etc).

"This partnership will speed up our sales and the pace of our commercial expansion, first of all in the EMEA region, then in zones where Stormshield will invest in 2017," stated Frédéric Napoleone, Sales Manager Western and South Europe at Stormshield.

Ingram Micro will market the entirety of the Stormshield solution range and ensure quick and efficient delivery by its integrators, thanks to its numerous logistics platforms spread out over the entire EMEA region. In addition to its European presence, the wholesaler also boasts substantial logistical capabilities in the United States and Asia Pacific. This represents a significant growth opportunity for Stormshield, which also wishes to accelerate its expansion in those regions.

For its part, Ingram Micro recently created a division specializing in cybersecurity and is increasing its investment in high value-added product lines. As the wholesaler seeks to offer its clients high-level technical expertise in each country, Stormshield was a natural choice for reinforcing its catalogue.

Apart from the international growth implications, this partnership will also be expected to expand in terms of product lines over the next few months. While both companies are collaborating closely and working on several ongoing projects, they have one common goal: assisting their clients to ensure a secure transition to the cloud.
