️⭐Who we are looking for?
Do you come from the world of IT or system and network integration and wish to work in R&D (Research and Development)? We are looking for someone who enjoys setting up prototypes with network equipment and also developing automated tests.
As part of a dynamic and creative team, you will contribute to strengthening our Quality Assurance team on our major solutions. You will independently set up and prototype various IT system and network environments (switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and applications) to then test our Stormshield firewalls in different configurations. You will analyze the behavior of our products with the network traffic you have generated and provide analysis and recommendations to our development teams.
✏️ What is the job description for the QA Engineer - System and Network?
- Test and validate software developments on firewalls:
- By participating in the functional definition of our security products;
- By designing and then executing test plans from functional specifications and associated requirements;
- By enriching and maintaining our testing infrastructures in operational condition (server installation, application setup, network configuration...);
- By deploying mock-ups with various equipment to test ongoing developments under real customer conditions.
- By developing automated tests to ensure the non-regression of our products;
- Diagnose failures of our security solutions in order to correct them (reproduction, system and network modeling, analysis...);
- Participate in improving the performance of our solutions (through benchmarking and stress testing);
- Be a driving force for improving products (functionality and quality);
- Assist Stormshield teams (technical support, pre-sales, developers...) in reproducing and analyzing reported issues.
