Cybersecurity PreSales Engineer: Experience and Skills

️⭐Who are we looking for?

Our team manager, Farid is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to be responsible for all technical issues related to the sales cycle of Stormshield product ranges. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technical resource for sales activities. You will assist in customer meetings to provide a technical perspective on Stormshield products and solutions. This includes understanding the customer's technical environment and identifying creative ways in which Stormshield products can solve their problems or create new opportunities. Travel is expected, and operational English is required.

We are looking for someone with:
  • Experience in the field of cybersecurity;
  • Excellent relational and writing skills, able to communicate effectively and present convincingly;
  • Excellent understanding of the computer security market and security problems encountered by large companies;
  • Solid knowledge of security technologies and products (firewalls, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, IPS/IDS, vulnerabilities, VPN, content filtering, APT protection, EDR, XDR...).

✏️ What are the missions of the Cybersecurity PreSales Engineer?

  • Present and promote Stormshield security solutions to customers and partners;
  • Accompany customers and partners throughout the sales cycle by providing sharp technical expertise and relevant demonstrations;
  • Ensure a consulting role in the pre-sales phase: qualifying needs, developing architectures, recommending adapted solutions;
  • Ensure response to tenders (RFI, RFP), in collaboration with internal teams and partners;
  • Design, organize, and carry out technical workshops;
  • Accompany customers in carrying out PoCs: defining objectives, implementation, follow-up;
  • Organize and lead training sessions on new versions and features of products for partners;
  • Accompany partners and prospects in getting familiar with products;
  • Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to formalize product improvements and new feature requests;
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of technical documentation (guides, solution sheets, FAQs);
  • Develop a relationship of trust with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts;
  • Generate new sales opportunities by proactively interacting with the technical community within target accounts;
  • Participate in IT security events and trade shows.
