️⭐Who we are looking for?

You will be joining the Cloud Services (CS) team as a DevOps/SRE engineer.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can contribute to the team's day-to-day operations, as well as providing project-based support.

You will be working with product teams who will be sharing their requirements. It will be up to you to advocate for your expertise in technology, architecture, maintainability, and scalability, while also offering recommendations, establishing specifications, and structuring requirements to facilitate platform convergence.

✏️ What is the job description for the DevOps/SRE Engineer?

Among the team's missions:

• Ensure the availability and performance of the platform: analyze and understand issues and provide solutions;
• Evolve the platform to meet customer needs;
• Support application teams in integrating applications and operational tasks;
• Improve processes and optimize the workflow of operations carried out by the CS team;
• Integrate new services to meet the needs of teams and clients, providing recommendations to ensure the sustainability, stability, and maintainability of the architecture;
• Contribute to the Cloud architecture by adapting it to the company's needs while considering scalability, performance, security, and cost constraints;
• Proactively monitor technological innovations in Cloud Computing to recommend and implement continuous improvements;
• Propose and implement technical and methodological continuous improvements as a team;
• As a bonus, if you have a facilitator mindset: help coordinate and align strategies between DevOps teams and other stakeholders.

• CI/CD: GitLab CI and ArgoCD (SaaS environment), Jenkins (legacy environment).
• Orchestration/IaC: Ansible, Terraform.
• Observability: Loki, OTEL, Grafana and ELK stacks..
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Proxmox/Ganeti (QEMU/KVM) on the legacy environment, Ceph, MySQL/MongoDB, SNS and Netfilter/iptables firewalls, IPSec interconnects, Load Balancer/Frontend (HAProxy/Nginx/Envoy), DNS.
• Security: PKI, Vault, LDAP/RBAC/Keycloak.
• Languages: Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Cloud providers: European public clouds.

You will be joining the Cloud Services team, managed by Nina. The team currently consists of four people from diverse backgrounds, united by their shared passion for Open Source, DevOps culture, automation, and regex, as well as their ambition to shake things up and take over the world!

The team is responsible for:

• The maintenance and evolution of application environments;
• The CI/CD toolchain and shared services;
• The infrastructure, processes, and supporting tools.

Currently, the team manages a platform undergoing unification, consisting of infrastructure and services deployed across multiple Cloud providers as well as on-premise environments. It also oversees a legacy environment in the process of transformation, which still supports part of the company's applications and services.
