Stormshield announces that it has obtained the highest Spanish qualification for its endpoint protection solutions (workstations, mobiles, connected devices, etc.). The Spanish National Cryptology Centre (CCN) grands Stormshield its second certification, after certifying SNS firewalls in 2020, a first at the time.
SES Evolution version 2.2 strengthened and now certified
Stormshield Endpoint Security Evolution proactively blocks malware, memory attacks and vulnerability exploitation. The solution's completely autonomous, signature-free, behavioural analysis approach guarantees that even the most sophisticated attacks are detected and blocked.
Since version 2.2, data security is also enhanced by improving protection against ransomware through the protection of Windows backups and the detection and blocking of malicious encryption processes.
The control of peripheral devices (Wi-Fi networks, USB keys) ensures dynamic management of the security policy, which automatically adapts to the working environment. Combining EPP and EDR, the solution also provides critical information to the administrator to better understand how the attack occurred and to trace it back to its origin.
These uses and functionalities, as well as the software architecture in the form of micro-services that strengthens the solution, convinced the National Cryptology Centre, which granted the "Producto Cualificado" certification.
Certification, a symbol of technological excellence
The certification of SES Evolution in Spain complements the certification already acquired by Stormshield in 2020 for its Stormshield Network Security (SNS) firewall range, which was both "Producto Cualificado" and "Productos Aprobados" certified, which was then a first for a firewall.

The "Producto Cualificado" label is primarily intended for agencies, government institutions and critical companies that must meet the requirements of the Spanish National Security Plan (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad, ENS).
