Lessons learned on OT cybersecurity

Emerging industries of the future are turning convergence between industrial networks (OTs) and information networks (IT) into a hot topic in the world of industry. This phenomenon highlights the specific characteristics of this infrastructure and reveals certain risks, particularly with regard to cybersecurity. But today, as OT struggle to protect systems that were never intended to be interconnected and assumed being isolated, we need to be vigilant. Not only about vulnerabilities and attack vectors but about wrong assumptions as well; Covid–19 seems to be an example.
