On the 23rd and 24th of January, digital confidence stakeholders came together in Lille, northern France, for the 10th International Cybersecurity Forum (IFC). 7,000 visitors attended this year's Forum to discuss everything from cybersecurity in general to data protection under the GDPR and industrial protection. This symbolic threshold was crossed on the first day of the show!
During these two days of events with Airbus Cybersecurity, our experts took turns to present the latest news and solutions from Stormshield. The show was also an opportunity to (re) introduce the strategic alliance with Panda Security in the area of endpoint protection and respond to the rise in the number of cybersecurity projects in the industry.
On the first day, Stormshield's Security Intelligence Product Leader, Paul Fariello, took part in a workshop entitled "Ransomware: how can international cooperation deal with it?". It was a packed room with multiple exchanges on a major topic.

The central importance of cybersecurity credentials
Various government speakers, including Gérard Collomb, French Minister of the Interior, Guillaume Poupard, Managing Director of ANSSI, and Julian King, European Commissioner for Security, insisted throughout the event on the need for awareness of the risks posed by the digital revolution and cybersecurity issues.
The first FIC announcement was the CyberSecurity catalogue. The catalogue is edited by the Alliance pour la Confiance Numérique (Digital Confidence Alliance), the Fédération des Industries Électriques, Électroniques et de Communication (Federation of Electrical, Electronic and Communication Industries), the Groupement des Industries Françaises de Défense et de Sécurité Terrestres et Aéroterrestres (French Land and Air Defence Industries Group) and the Hexatrust association, and was officially launched at the show.

The ANSSI also used this major show to launch its "security Visa". It is aimed at easier identification of the most reliable cybersecurity solutions and promotion of the organisation's trusted products. Want to know more about Stormshield certified solutions? Finally, on the second and last day of the show, Stormshield once more received "France CyberSecurity" labels from the Secretary of State for Digital Technology, Mounir Mahjoubi, for our Stormshield Network Security, Stormshield Endpoint Security and Stormshield Data Security products. A fantastic reward for the work of our R&D teams.
