Certcon7: Stormshield and the new challenges facing cybersecurity

On 30 and 31 October, you'll find Stormshield at an event organized by the CERT-RO (Romanian national computer emergency readiness team) in Bucharest (Romania). As has been the case every year for the past 7 years, the conference sets out to provide a mix of debates, presentations and workshops that address technical and policy issues to do with cybersecurity in Europe More than 200 cyber experts, government officials and policymakers, as well as representatives of private companies, NGOs and universities will be there.

A shared vision of collaboration

The CERT-RO is an independent structure for research, development and expertise in the field of cybersecurity. It is specialized in preventing, analyzing, identifying and reacting to cyber incidents.

Just like Stormshield, collaboration is central to the CERT’s approach. Representatives from the private sector, government organizations and academia will all be involved in this annual international conference, increasing cybersecurity awareness and anticipating future challenges for digital protection.
