Technical Leader Node.js and React.js: Experience and Skills

️⭐ Who we are looking for?

We are hiring a technical expert with excellent architectural vision and best practices. This role requires strong technical leadership to guide the team in achieving ambitious product goals. The stack is modern, the architecture complex and the product brand new, currently in active development.

We mainly want a candidate who is smart, eager to learn and grow, has strong convictions and wants to take responsibility.

The Technical Leader will join a team of technical references composed of a technical architect and another Technical Leader, operationally supported by four Lead Developers who implement the vision closely with the technical teams.

✏️ What is the job description for the Technical Leader Node.js and React.js?

In your scope of responsibility you will have:

  • Technical expertise :
    • Choose appropriate technologies and co-design the most optimal architectures to solve complex problems;
    • Co-build, as a trio, a technical roadmap that ensures the maintainability and security of the application, notably by controlling technical debt;
    • Advise, guide and frame the team in applying coding best practices and the defined architecture;
    • Share your convictions and technical watch findings within the team and beyond to contribute positively to the collective.
  • Leadership and mentoring :Support the technical upskilling of the team, working with the manager and using your technical coaching skills.
  • Problem solving:
    • Identify, analyse and solve technical and complex problems;
    • Act as a point of contact for technical challenges within the team.
  • Collaboration:Collaborate with other teams, particularly the teams responsible for the PaaS and the applications related to yours, to ensure successful integration of technical solutions.
  • Technology watch:
    • Keep up with technological trends and evolutions;
    • Evaluate new technologies for their potential integration into company projects.

  • Languages:TypeScript (Node.js and React.js), Clean architecture.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, time-series databases like Prometheus.
  • Authentication/ SSO: OpenID Connect.
  • Testing & Quality: Jest, Playwright, Cucumber / Gherkin.
  • CI/CD & infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI.
  • Observability: Grafana.
  • Versioning : Git, GitLab.

  1. An initial exchange with William, our recruitment manager, to discuss your current work and how we can collaborate.
  2. A phone interview with Nina, accompanied by the architect, to give you a more detailed explanation of the team's workflow and the vision for the role.
  3. A technical interview with Nina and part of your future team, involving development exercises.
  4. An HR interview with Audrey, to present Stormshield as a whole and outline the full range of benefits.
