Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer: Experience and Skills

️⭐Who are we looking for?

Our team manager Farid, is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to be responsible for all technical issues related to the sales cycle of Stormshield product ranges. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technical resource for sales activities. You will assist in customer meetings to provide a technical perspective on Stormshield products and solutions. This includes understanding the customer's technical environment and identifying creative ways in which Stormshield products can solve their problems or create new opportunities. Travel is expected, and operational English is required.

We are looking for someone with:
  • Experience in the field of cybersecurity;
  • Excellent relational and writing skills, able to communicate effectively and present convincingly;
  • Excellent understanding of the computer security market and security problems encountered by large companies;
  • Solid knowledge of security technologies and products (firewalls, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, IPS/IDS, vulnerabilities, VPN, content filtering, APT protection, EDR, XDR...).

✏️ What are the missions of the Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer?

  • Present and demonstrate the value of our cybersecurity products to clients and partners.
  • Provide advisory support during the pre-sales phase by analyzing client needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Support clients throughout the sales cycle by delivering in-depth technical expertise, impactful demonstrations, and recommendations aligned with their business and regulatory challenges.
  • Ensure responses to requests for proposals (RFI, RFP) in collaboration with internal teams and partners.
  • Organize and lead skills transfer sessions: training, workshops, presentations for partners and prospects.
  • Design and conduct technical workshops to illustrate the relevance and performance of our solutions.
  • Oversee the execution of client Proofs of Concept (PoC): defining objectives, implementation, technical follow-up, and reporting results.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to relay field needs, propose enhancements, and enrich the offering.
  • Contribute to technical documentation to support sales teams and partners.
  • Develop a trusting relationship with decision-makers and technical influencers within strategic accounts.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities by proactively engaging with clients' technical communities.
  • Represent the company at cybersecurity events and trade shows, enhancing the visibility and credibility of our solutions.

You will be part of the Pre-Sales team managed by Farid and consisting of about twenty people. Each pre-sales engineer is attached to a sales team.
