Stormshield launches “Stormshield Network Security for Cloud” on Microsoft Azure

Stormshield, a key player in the cyber security market, has announced the availability of its “Stormshield Network Security solution for Cloud” on the Microsoft Azure platform. This solution combines unified threat management with state-of-the-art firewalls.

Companies are increasingly moving their technology infrastructure to the cloud. Such a decision raises new security issues. To protect these environments, Stormshield supports companies during the transition with a solution on Azure called “Stormshield Network Security for Cloud”.

The solution is easy-to-deploy and provides also optimum protection by combining unified threat management with state-of-the-art firewalls. Based on this, companies and organisations of all sizes can take full advantage of the cloud by creating scalable solutions while maintaining control over their web security. The single interface of Stormshield Network Security for Cloud means that all firewalls in the cloud and on the premises can be managed centrally. Companies and organisations can access this solution via a virtual application or deploy it within their own infrastructure.

Matthieu Bonenfant, Head of Stormshield Product Marketing, said: “This application provides an operational solution for companies who want to outsource the protection of cloud environments. It also enables them to conclude contracts with several cloud providers.”
